Releasing Doves at funerals, celebrations, events, allows for the release of emotion of the heart, the physical action of ‘letting go’ moves the heart to create space for grief to be expressed.

I have personally witnessed this many times, the Doves carry the sorrow, transforming the energy as they fly, leaving the griever feeling lighter, freer and more connected.

Doves, with their long history with humankind, have been long regarded as carriers of messengers between the realms. Their human connection dating back to Noah after the Great Flood, when the Doves returned carrying a cannabis leaf, indicating hope, safety & health ahead.

Doves are frequently released at funerals, because of their unique ability to interact with the spirit realm, transport our love to the deceased and often bring back a message, bringing a sense of joy and peace to the one/s left behind, a form of solace.

Co-founders & siblings of ‘Release Doves’, Jerome & Berni, have been breeding and caring for the Doves since 2013, and have great knowledge and love for the birds. The Doves are free flying during the day and cosy, warm and at home in the loft at night, safe from predators.

The Doves are honoured, cared for and treasured as they bring great joy, hope and peace to those whom decide to release a dove or two.

The Doves are best hand released, which I assist with, or may be basket released, the choice is yours, with most being hand released, allowing for the personal human connection with bird, to enable the message to be whispered directly to the Dove/s
